Name : High Temperature Modified Pitch
Physical and chemical properties: Coal tar pitch is a black solid consist of fused ring aromatic hydrocarbons and macromolecular resin, at a certain temperature, it will be solidified into a brittle solid with shell-like fracture. It will melt in a certain range of melting points, but it has no definite melting point. Coal tar pitch has no thermal effect when solidified. Its flash point is 204.4°C , and its boiling point is less than 4 70°C .
Production process : It is obtained by distilling soft pitch in modifier under certain pressure and temperature after certain time of heating.
Application: It can be used as binder pitch for the production of Anode Paste, Prebaked Anode, Cathode, Electrode Paste, and Graphite Electrode.
Transportation: It should be transported in bag or in bulk by trucks or by railway, and subject to the specific requirement of transportation. |
