Physical and chemical properties: Coal tar pitch is a black solid consist of fused ring aromatic hydrocarbons and macromolecular resin, at a certain temperature, it will be solidified into a brittle solid with shell-like fracture. It will melt in a certain range of melting points, but it has no definite melting point. Coal tar pitch has no thermal effect when solidified. Its flash point is 204.4°C , and its boiling point is less than 470°C .

Application: It can be used as binder pitch for making Electrode Paste, Anode Paste.

Transportation: It should be transported in bag or in bulk by trucks or by railway and subject to the specific requirement of transportation.
